A girl, beautiful in the eyes of the rich, doesn't know for sure what she wants. She is stuck between the past and the present and can not come to a decision on who she wants to love or if she really even loves any of them at all. Once her lover went to war, "a nobody from no where", she found another man. They eventually got married, but on that wedding night, she received a letter from the past. With thoughts of doubt, she got married anyways that night. Daisy and her NEW found "lover" moved to east egg, Long Island NY. Without her knowing, her past followed her there, staring at her green light from across the water.
One night, he past finally showed himself to her. The man she used to "love". Once eyes met when they were alone, tears of happiness filled her eyes. What did this mean to her? they started meeting frequently, loving each other like the "good ol' days" till one day, reality starts to kick in. Her past and present then meet. her new husband has a clue of whats going on and he doesn't like it. he take the opportunity to figure out who this "nobody from no where" is., and with all the money that seems to be endless, he begins to feel the jealousy. On one very hot summer day, a big group of friends get together. Daisy begins to get drunk and he lips start to become loose. words flow out of her mouth that should have never seen the light of day. She confesses that she didn't love her husband anymore. Where would she go from here? return to the past? or stay with the present, hopping for a future? -MH "Daisy was my second cousin once removed, and I'd known Tom in college."-Nick

When they drive through the Valley of Ashes, Myrtle runs out in the middle of the street and Daisy runs into her, killing her. Gatsby said he would take blame for this event.
